Senior Mechanical Engineer (Based at Puchong, Selangor)

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you are expected to have knowledge/experience in the following scope:

• Mechanical Design in accordance to Malaysia Standard (MS), British Standard (BS), ASHRAE, NFPA and other related standards.
• Cold/Hot Water and Sanitary Plumbing
• Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation
• Mastering software skills such as CAD, Revit, BIM, E20, Hydraulic Software and ETC.
• Will be exposed to Design related to Data Centre, Specialized factory design, Warehouse, Renewable Energy, etc.
• Able to attend meetings with clients, other consultants, trades, authorities, etc.
• Conducting Industrial research such as Industrial Product specification comparison, feasibility studies, etc.
• Charting your route to Professional Engineer (Ir. Status).

What you do?

• You will be assigned to facilitate projects as on-job training.
• You will be guided to conduct Engineering Feasibility Studies.
• You are expected to meet multidiscipline Engineers and other professionals including Architects and Surveyors.
• You will be trained to conduct tender practices.
• You are required to conduct industrial research to keep yourself updated with the latest technologies.
• Undergo career guidance by company’s directors and attend networking sessions with various professional institutions/associations, providing a clear and structured training towards Professional Engineering Status.
• You will be given a chance to lead and monitor a project team and perform delegation of jobs to subordinates.
• You are required to guide & mentor junior engineers.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) recognized by the Board of Engineers Malaysia.
• Application is open for Senior Mechanical Engineers with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Hardworking and willing to learn.
• Position is contractual for 12 months.
• Required skills: CAD Software, Microsoft Word & Excel (Computer literate).
• Required languages: English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Candidate must be willing to work at Puchong, Selangor.
