About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at DSG (MALAYSIA) SDN BHD. This is a full-time position based in Teluk Panglima Garang, Selangor. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of mechanical engineering solutions to support our company's strategic objectives.

What you'll be doing

• Designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems, components, and products
• Conducting research, analysis, and feasibility studies to identify optimal solutions
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects
• Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and technicians
• Ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices
• Continuously improving processes and identifying opportunities for innovation

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the engineering industry
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
• Proficient in using CAD software and other engineering tools
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
