Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Description:

Involvement in process gas and steam systems, compressed air systems, etc., is preferred. Experience in industrial, commercial, and residential projects is beneficial. Prior project management experience is a plus. Proficiency with computer simulation software relevant to engineering design is preferred.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering; a postgraduate degree in a related field is an advantage.
2. At least 8 years of relevant design experience in areas such as:
1. HVAC
2. Fire protection and plumbing systems
3. Mechanical handling equipment
4. Lifts & escalators
5. Building Management Systems (BMS)
3. Strong understanding and experience with regulatory authorities.
4. Professional Engineer (PE) registration with a practicing certificate is preferred.
5. Key Skill: Engineering Design.
6. Proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM is advantageous.
7. Must be registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
