What role you will play in the team

• You will be an integral part of our rapidly growing process engineering team providing technical leadership and insights from a process technology fleet perspective and support to ExxonMobil’s manufacturing facilities globally.
• You will be crucial in establishing a strong culture of collaboration with manufacturing facilities to sustain operational excellence with a standardized corporate approach.
• Position is based in Kuala Lumpur.
• This position is not limited to Malaysians only.

What you will do

• Be the subject matter expert on Distillation, Hydroprocessing and/or Reforming technologies for the Kuala Lumpur Technology Center (KLTC), providing process engineering technical support to ExxonMobil’s global manufacturing facilities.
• Proactively engage with various global interfaces in ExxonMobil to identify opportunities and propose innovative solutions to drive business value.
• Lead deployment of fleet initiatives across ExxonMobil’s facilities for profit margin improvement, energy and OPEX efficiencies.
• Streamline and standardize work processes to improve manufacturing technical support delivery effectiveness.
• Provide key input to skill development programs to accelerate competency building.
• Drive functional excellence by promoting continuous improvement of standards, cutting-edge tools and practices.
• Serve as a functional mentor for junior engineers and provide technical credibility for organizational competency development.

About you

Skills and Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Preferably 15 years of experience working in a refinery.
• Process technology experience in Distillation, Reforming, and/or Hydroprocessing.
