Main Job Duties
The Manufacturing manager will oversee overall daily operations of the factory production and manufacturing processes, ensuring all related policies and procedures are followed. Develop processes that will maximize control, safety, quality, and productivity.
Responsibilities
Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations.
Increase production, equipment capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards.
Be responsible for production output, product quality, and on-time delivery.
Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize equipment to produce optimal results.
Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus.
Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions.
Develop a trusting relationship with work team and recruit, manage, and develop manufacturing staff.
Collect and analyze data to eliminate and/or minimize waste and enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
Commit and promote factory safety procedures.
Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics, and performance targets to ensure best OEE.
Address employees’ issues or grievances and consciously create and maintain a harmonious work environment.
Influence and learn from all levels of the organization as well as his/her work team.
Stay up to date with the latest production management best practices and concepts.
Requirements
Proven work experience as a Production or Manufacturing Manager.
Proven managerial experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, and human resources).
Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise.
Knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, planning & scheduling, inventory, and control of processes.
Computer literacy.
Ability to create accountability and to lead by example.
Strong team building, decision-making, and people management skills.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
