Job description

The Senior Manager of Sales & Marketing, Corporate Communications & Public Relations is responsible for driving strategic marketing, sales, and communications initiatives that enhance brand visibility, boost revenue, and create strong relationships with members, guests, and the broader public. This role involves spearheading digital and traditional marketing campaigns, cultivating public relations, and ensuring seamless execution of member engagement activities. The ideal candidate will also leverage the latest digital marketing strategies, including social media, data-driven insights, and innovative content creation, to grow the business and build strategic partnerships within the hospitality sector.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

You shall be responsible but not limited to the following duties:

SALES & MARKETING:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to boost club membership, hotel bookings, events, and dining services within the hospitality division.
  • Lead cutting-edge digital marketing campaigns, utilizing SEO, social media, email marketing, and paid advertising (PPC) to drive traffic, engagement, and conversion.
  • Utilize data analytics to analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor strategies to refine marketing tactics and identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with hotel and clubhouse operations teams to ensure marketing campaigns are aligned with service offerings, brand standards, and customer experience goals.
  • Establish and strengthen relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and event organizers to increase bookings, sponsorships, and strategic partnerships.
  • Drive digital transformation by integrating omnichannel strategies that include social media, influencer partnerships, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Manage online reputation and brand presence, responding to reviews and engaging with audiences across platforms (e.g., TripAdvisor, Google Reviews, social media).
  • Develop compelling content, including videos, blogs, and interactive media, that enhances the customer experience and showcases the brand.
  • Leverage marketing automation tools to segment audiences, personalize communication, and optimize customer journeys.
  • Monitor KPIs such as digital engagement, web traffic, conversion rates, and social media growth to assess campaign effectiveness.

CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS & PUBLIC RELATIONS:

  • Manage internal and external communications, ensuring consistent messaging across all marketing channels and media platforms.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries, public appearances, and press conferences, effectively representing the hospitality division at local, regional, and industry events.
  • Draft press releases, newsletters, and social media updates that promote events, new initiatives, and achievements of the hospitality division.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and key stakeholders within the hospitality industry to strengthen public relations efforts.
  • Handle crisis communications, ensuring swift resolution of any public relations challenges or potential brand risks.

EVENTS & MEMBER ENGAGEMENT:

  • Design and oversee high-impact events and activities that engage both members and guests, enhancing their overall experience and loyalty.
  • Work closely with the events team to ensure the successful planning and execution of corporate, social, and community events.
  • Measure the success of events through participation rates, guest feedback, and financial performance to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote events through digital channels and cross-promotions.

REVENUE GENERATION & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:

  • Identify new revenue streams and business opportunities through partnerships, sponsorships, and creative promotions tailored to the hospitality market.
  • Develop strategic initiatives to drive hotel occupancy during low-demand periods and increase club membership through unique offerings and campaigns.
  • Create innovative seasonal packages, promotions, and exclusive membership deals to capture new customer segments and boost sales.

TEAM LEADERSHIP:

  • Lead and mentor the sales, marketing, and communication teams, fostering a culture of high performance, creativity, and collaboration.
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure cohesive marketing strategies and effective implementation of sales and PR initiatives.
  • Encourage a data-driven, innovative mindset within the team to adapt to emerging trends and digital advancements.

BUDGETING & REPORTING:

  • Oversee the marketing, sales, and PR budget, ensuring all campaigns are cost-effective and generate a strong return on investment (ROI).
  • Provide detailed performance reports to senior management, including analysis of sales, digital metrics, event outcomes, and strategic recommendations based on insights from marketing data.
  • Develop forecasts and set measurable goals that align with business objectives, ensuring the hospitality division achieves its revenue targets.

OTHERS:

  • To perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Management from time to time.
