In the United Kingdom, IJM Land is the developer of the much sought-after Royal Mint Gardens project in central London.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct and spearhead strategic marketing strategies and new product development plans with consultation of senior management.
• Assess market conditions to recommend new product development and growth areas within the property industry based on competitor and industry analysis.
• Confer with board members, organization officials, and staff members to discuss issues, coordinate activities, and resolve problems.
• Identify sales and marketing strategies to increase customers’ awareness and positive perception of the Company.
• Meet with prospective purchasers to showcase high end property developments.
• Direct policies, objectives, and activities of the department in order to ensure continuing operations, to maximize returns on investments, and to increase productivity.
• Review reports on sales targets to assess actual vs. forecasted performance; identify issues, challenges, and develop marketing strategies.
• Build relationship with local authorities and bodies within the property development industry.
• Negotiate or approve contracts and agreements with suppliers, distributors, federal and state agencies, and other organizational entities.
• Coach and motivate staff; identify learning opportunities for staff development and advancement; implement performance review standards in order to build staff competence on the job and encourage motivation, pro-activeness, and job satisfaction of all direct reports.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Familiar with property development market environment and historic trends.
• Understand the operations and processes in the property development industry.
• Possess practical knowledge of business plan development and implementation, as well as local business and government rules and regulations.
• Possess a Degree in Business Administration/ Marketing/ Management or a related discipline.
• At least 15 years of experience within the industry, out of which 8 years in a managerial role.
• Familiar with IFCA software and Microsoft Office applications.
