Senior Manager, Product and Business Development

We are seeking for Senior Manager, Product and Business Development to join our dynamic team in the precious metals trading industry. As a key member of our product and business development department, you will be responsible for driving the growth and expansion of the company's products and services. This includes identifying new business opportunities, creating and implementing strategies to increase product offerings, and establishing strong partnerships to support business growth. The role combines market research, strategic planning, and product development to optimize business success and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development:

  1. Conduct market research and analyze customer feedback to identify gaps in the market, consumer needs, and new product opportunities.
  2. Develop and execute product strategies, from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with company goals and market trends. Define product roadmaps and timelines.
  3. Work closely with business development teams to define product features, specifications, and go-to-market strategies.
  4. Oversee the entire lifecycle of products, from concept and development to market introduction and subsequent updates or iterations.

Business Development:

  1. Research and identify new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, or acquisition targets that align with company objectives.
  2. Develop strategies to expand into new markets, driving growth through new business channels or customer segments.
  3. Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and suppliers. Negotiate deals and strategic alliances to create new business avenues.
  4. Analyze competitors' products, market positioning, and business strategies to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.

Strategy and Planning:

  1. Assist in the development of overall business strategies, aligning product offerings and business development initiatives to long-term company goals.
  2. Contribute to business development financial planning, forecasting, and setting budgets. Track the performance of new business initiatives and product investments.
  3. Conduct in-depth market analysis and consumer behavior studies to guide product and business development decisions.

Sales and Marketing Support:

  1. Collaborate with the business development teams to design and execute effective go-to-market strategies, promotional campaigns, and product launches.
  2. Provide training and product knowledge support to the sales team to help drive business growth and improve product sales.

Project Management:

  1. Manage and lead various product development and business initiatives, ensuring timely execution, delivery, and alignment with business objectives.
  2. Monitor and evaluate the performance of new products, business initiatives, and partnerships, ensuring success and profitability.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Product Management, or a related field.
  2. At least 5-7 years of experience in product development, business development, or related roles. Previous experience in managing cross-functional teams and successful product launches is a plus.
  3. Strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  5. Solid understanding of market research, customer behavior, and competitor analysis.
  6. Expertise in product lifecycle management and business strategy development.
  7. Analytical skills to track performance and evaluate the success of initiatives.
