Senior Manager/Manager, Finance

Responsibilities:

• Perform month end closing and reporting for group reporting and management review.
• Maintain and monitor AEI/Capex tracksheet for payments and quarterly reporting as well as posting into SAP system.
• Monitor debtors turnover days and ensure unidentified receipts are cleared timely.
• Ensure submission of budget and forecast in accordance with timeline.
• Review the budget and prepare summary and detailed variance analysis report.
• In charge of group cashflow planning and capital management.
• Prepare Mall SST reports bi-monthly and forward to Group for compilation.
• Review, monitor and comply with internal controls and accounting related standard operating procedures to safeguard the company's assets and interests.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and Financial Reporting Standards.
• Support and participate in any ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• A degree in Accountancy and a member of MIA, ACCA, CPA or an equivalent professional body.
• Minimum 8 years relevant post-graduate experience with recent years in managerial capacity.
• Knowledge of SAP and Financial Reporting Standards.
• Experience in a public listed entity, retail or property developer is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office such as Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Committed, self-driven, independent, strong team player with a sense of urgency.
• Able to work independently in a dynamic environment.
