Senior Manager - Leasing (IOI CITY MALL)

Good interpersonal skill and good relationship with prospective retailers. Knowledge and sensitivity of the retail trend and retail business. To deliver the best retail experience for the shoppers of Damansara by prospecting and delivering retailers according to the centre's retail mix plan within the given budget.

Responsibilities:

1. Leasing Strategy Execution & Planning: Develop and execute leasing strategies to ensure tenant mix in alignment with the company's business strategy and market demand. Create and implement detailed leasing plans for the team's execution to meet business objectives.
2. Tenant Management & Lease Renewals: Monitor lease expirations and proactively engage existing tenants for renewals, extensions, or re-negotiation. Ensure smooth transitions by sourcing replacements for non-renewing tenants.
3. Vacancy Management & Reporting: Track, monitor, and report vacancy levels within the mall to senior management on a regular basis, identifying trends and areas requiring attention.
4. Tenant Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with tenants to enhance tenant satisfaction and ensure long-term occupancy. Act as the key contact for tenant-related matters.
5. Prospective Tenant Qualification and Site Tours: Identify and qualify strong prospective tenants based on leasing criteria. Arrange property viewings and tours to potential clients, presenting the property's benefits and features.
6. Retailer Database & Sourcing: Leverage and maintain a comprehensive retailer database to actively source and attract new tenants.
7. Respond to Leasing Inquiries: Handle all leasing inquiries efficiently, providing necessary information and conducting follow-ups to secure new tenants.
8. Team Leadership & Development: Lead, guide, and mentor the leasing team, providing clear direction, support, and professional development opportunities. Ensure the team is motivated, aligned with goals, and performing at a high level.

What you will need:

1. Bachelor's degree in any related field, or equivalent.
2. Minimum 10 years relevant experience in leasing / property leasing / property sales in a managerial role.
3. Excellent interpersonal skills with good oral and written communication abilities.
4. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
5. Possess own transport and willing to work in Putrajaya.
6. Efficient, accurate with details and strong analytical skills.
7. Keep updated on the retail trend.
8. Result-oriented.
9. Good problem-solving skills.
