Lead the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with recruitment agencies and educational institutions to attract top talent.
Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance improvement plans, and disciplinary actions, in compliance with Malaysian labor laws.
Implement and manage performance appraisal processes, providing guidance to managers and employees on goal setting and performance improvement.
Identify training and development needs and coordinate relevant programs.
Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness in the Malaysian job market.
Ensure compliance with salary and benefits standards in line with local regulations.
Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks in accordance with local labor laws.
Ensure compliance with all employment regulations and standards in Malaysia.
Identify skill gaps and training needs among employees and design or source relevant training programs.
Support career development and succession planning initiatives.
Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance workplace satisfaction and retention.
Promote employee wellness programs and initiatives.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification is a plus.
Significant experience (5+ years) in HR management roles, preferably within a Malaysian context.
In-depth knowledge of Malaysian labor laws, regulations, and employment practices.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and other HR software.
Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Malay.
High ethical standards and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
