Job Summary
This position is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of HR operations, ensuring first-class support and strategic alignment across the HR spectrum. As a key leader, the role will collaborate closely with senior leadership and line managers to drive operational excellence, ensure compliance with employment laws, and align HR practices with organizational objectives.

Job Description

  • Define and execute the strategic objectives and operational goals for the HR department, ensuring alignment with business strategies.
  • Oversee and ensure the effective implementation of core HR functions, including Recruitment, Learning & Development, Industrial Relations, Safety & Health, HRIS, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Engagement, CSR activities, Payroll, and others.
  • Monitor and track the performance and progress of HR strategies, ensuring measurable outcomes and improvements.
  • Lead and mentor the HRBP team and HR services team, fostering collaboration and accountability in daily operations.
  • Analyze key HR metrics, including employee performance, turnover rates, retention statistics, and recruitment costs, to inform decision-making and strategic adjustments.
  • Design, develop, and implement HR policies and organizational strategies to enhance employee satisfaction and foster a positive work environment.
  • Drive the development and implementation of competitive employee benefits and compensation plans that attract and retain talent.
  • Ensure all HR processes and practices are compliant with applicable employment laws, regulations, and internal governance policies.
  • Integrate Governance, Risk, and Opportunity (GRO) frameworks into daily HR operations and decision-making processes.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to ensure all business activities, products, and services comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Provide insights and improvements for recruitment campaigns, leveraging data-driven approaches for optimization.
  • Lead and participate in ad-hoc HR projects, strategic initiatives, and reporting as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management or an equivalent field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in HR leadership roles, with at least 3 years at a senior management level.
  • In-depth knowledge and expertise in HR operations, including payroll systems, HRIS, talent acquisition tools, and related software.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving skills to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Thorough understanding of employment laws and regulations with a proven track record of ensuring compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR-related tools.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
