Possess professional accounting qualifications with MIA membership.

At least 10 years of accounting experience, preferably in Retail Industry.

A dedicated team player with positive personality and excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

High proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel.

Strong analytical skills and meticulous for details.

Work independently under tight deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Oversee daily accounting and finance operations.
2. Ensure timely and accurate monthly and annual closings.
3. Provide continuous business improvement and financial insights and recommendations.
4. Prepare annual budget and forecast in line with business plan.
5. Cash flow management.
6. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements on monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
7. Prepare quarterly reporting for announcements and in compliance with bursa requirements.
8. Prepare annual group budget and forecast in line with business plan.
9. Prepare quarterly board papers and annual report.
10. Ensure compliance with local regulations (accounting and tax) and the group’s internal control policies.
11. To liaise with internal auditors, external auditors, tax agent, ensuring timely completion of tax filings, compliance with local statutory requirements and alignment with accounting standards.
12. Tax planning and maintain transfer pricing documentation.
13. Familiar with accounting standards MFRS.
14. Lead, mentor and develop the finance team ensuring high performance culture and efficiency.
15. Ad-hoc matters assigned from time to time.
