Senior Manager, Finance

Job Description:

1. To keep abreast of the development and ensure compliance to the Malaysian Financial Reporting Standard, Tax Regulations, SST Rulings, Housing Development Rules and Regulations and any other rules and regulations applicable to the industry.
2. To monitor and ensure compliance to the Company's/ Group's policies and procedures and internal control processes.
3. To plan and monitor the annual statutory reporting, tax compliance and review, SST submission and other regulatory requirement of the Company.
4. To liaise and attend to the Financiers in sourcing and negotiating the project financing deals.
5. To lead the annual business planning, feasibility study and budget setting process within his/ her portfolio.
6. To ensure effective communication with the management or any other interested parties on financial related information by providing sound and relevant financial analysis and interpretation.
7. To manage, motivate and develop finance staff, providing leadership as well as the setting of appropriate objectives.
8. To identify gaps in the knowledge of team members and to put in place training systems and processes to ensure the entire team can operate as an effective unit.
9. To assist HOD Finance on any other matters that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/Financial and Accounting professional qualifications eg. ACCA, CIMA, CPA, MIA, ICAEW, MICPA.
• At least 10 years of relevant Finance and Accounting experience in property industry and with at least 3 years of audit background will be an added advantage.
• At least 5 years of managerial experience overseeing a team of 7-10 staff.
• Experience working in public listed company.
• Sound knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards and corporate taxation matters.
• Experience in ERP system and proficient in Microsoft Office.
