RM14,000 - RM 17,500 per month, 13 Months Salary
A leading manufacturing multinational corporation with a 4 billion USD worldwide market is looking to expand its Malaysia shared services center and hire Demand Planner (Europe Markets) talents. There are junior up to senior positions available across the function.
Responsibilities
- Oversee, guide, and nurture a high-performing team of managers in demand planning function.
- Establish clear goals and objectives for the team, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback and coaching to drive improvement.
- Support the team in creating precise and dependable forecasts for all brands within the cluster, collaborating closely with Marketing and Finance teams to ensure alignment.
- Develop essential tools and models to support monthly, annual, and ad-hoc demand forecasting processes.
- Deliver accurate and timely volume performance analyses to enhance the demand forecasting process.
- Ensure all reporting adheres to Regional guidelines with precision and timeliness.
- Manage and refine the forecasting process to improve accuracy while coordinating the local forecasting activities. Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to co-develop short- and mid-term demand plans.
- Generate demand plans based on statistical analysis, incorporating market trends, customer insights, expected exceptions, and guidelines from previous S&OP cycles.
- Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to understand product availability and upcoming marketing initiatives.
- Aggregate product-level forecasts from sales teams to create a comprehensive demand outlook.
- Provide insights into product performance, highlighting trends toward higher or lower margin products to support fact-based decision-making by management.
- Maintain demand plans to ensure they meet customer requirements while optimizing cost-effectiveness.
Requirement
- Bachelor/ Master's degree in Supply Chain or related field.
- 8 Years of experience within Demand Planning, or Supply Chain Planning team is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with a proactive communication approach.
- Ability to work independently and think strategically in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Ability to solve customer problems and inquiries in a high demand, fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
