As part of our expansion, we are strengthening our Corporate Development team which focuses on solving complex business challenges for the Group.

We are seeking a talented Manager / Senior Manager to join the Corporate Development team. The Candidate will be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and will be a versatile position focused on supporting a wide range of strategic activities, including strategic planning, M&A and partnerships.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Transactional sourcing and screening of investment opportunities
• Developing and documenting transaction rationale, including preparation and presentation of materials and reports for potential and current investors
• Developing financial models and executing transaction recommendations
• Performing comprehensive and in-depth company and industry research, and peer benchmarking
• Participating in the whole spectrum of investor relations activities which include marketing and fundraising activities and materials, roadshows, and prospective investor meetings
• Any other duties assigned which may be required in the course of the job

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or Masters / MBA
• Experience of 5 to 8 Years for a Manager and 8 to 12 Years for a Senior Manager at a reputable Firm in the Corporate Finance / M&A / Advisory practice will be advantageous
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting; excellent analytical / modeling skills
• Demonstrate strong commercial acumen, excellent technical skills, confident presentation ability, and an inquisitive mind
• Overall familiarity with the financial industry and knowledge of various strategies would be a significant enhancement. Real Estate experience will be advantageous.
• Self-motivated and proactive, both with respect to managing workload and own professional development.
• Robust project and people management skills over a full cycle transaction process
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin (Spoken and Written). Fluency in Malay or another Asian language will be an advantage.
