Responsibilities:

• Review and prepare construction cost for feasibility study.
• Verify and provide recommendations to HOD regarding the pre-qualification of contractors for tender packages.
• Lead and assist the HOD in the preparation of tender documents, ensuring accuracy, completeness, adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and assist to co-ordinate tender committee meetings, ensuring the recording and accuracy of all matters discussed.
• Evaluate and review tender submissions.
• Lead in cost value engineering for achieving optimum cost saving.
• Prepare and update on the regular QS reports for the HOD.
• Assist in monitoring and reporting performance of the Contracts Management function.
• Co-ordinate training plans and programs for the department.
• Preparing and drafting of Letter of Acceptance to Consultants.
• Review and comments on the drafted Letter of award to Contractors.
• Monitor all progress claims until final accounts, ensuring compliance with contract terms and timely payment.
• Oversee Provisional Variation Orders (PVOs), Variation Orders (VOs), and dispute claims, ensuring alignment with contract provisions.
• Provide relevant supervision, coaching, and guidance to team members, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives and targets.
• Perform any tasks assigned by superiors.

Requirements:

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Degree, Quantity Surveying or Construction management.
• Related professional certification in quantity surveying/cost and contract management discipline local or international bodies will be advantaged.
• Preferably candidate who has 12-15 years of overall work experience related to property development.
• Strong analytical thinking and results-oriented mindset.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong communication skills in presentation, both written and spoken.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
