In this role, you are required to support both CFO and FC, working closely with the FC to administer all Financial Reporting & Analysis (FRA) activities while working collaboratively between function leaders as primary point of contact. Apply MFRS principles in preparation and analysis of financial statements; ensure effectiveness of controls and high-quality reporting; execute month end closing processes; advise on technical accounting matters and liaise with external auditor, tax agent and 3rd parties, where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage General Ledger and AP function
2. Execute Monthly Closing
3. Involve in Forecast and Budgeting
4. Manage Company Tax and its related matters
5. Handle matters relating to E-invoicing
6. Prepare monthly Financial Statements to bankers, quarterly Consol Packages and Salient Point Report to Holding Company, monthly Business Review Report, monthly Impairment Assessment, supporting schedules to the Financial Statements, Form CP 58 & other ad-hoc reports and analysis required from time to time
7. Review Management Accounts
8. Perform Variance Analysis and report, Audit Schedules, Bank Reconciliation, Sundry Creditors’ Reconciliation, and Transfer Pricing Documentation
9. Perform Internal control checking
10. Liaise with external and internal auditors, tax agent & statutory bodies

Requirements:

1. Professional qualification i.e. ACCA / CIMA / CPA or its equivalent
2. MIA member
3. Knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards
4. 10 years of working experience in similar capacity
5. Good administration and communication skills (English), both in verbal and writing
6. Reliable and meticulous
7. Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
