Senior Maintenance Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Maintenance Executive to join our team. This is a full-time position based in Seremban 2, Negeri Sembilan. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our facility.

What you'll be doing:

1. Responsible for maximizing the availability of the factory machineries and providing technical solutions to increase the reliability of the whole system.
2. Oversee the total factory maintenance activities including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and infrastructural for the smooth operations.
3. Plan schedule maintenance practice e.g., preventive/predictive and condition-based maintenance on machine/equipment to reduce breakdown and increase reliability of factory machineries and utilities and keep management updated accordingly.
4. Perform root cause analysis for all major breakdowns and formulate corrective and preventive actions to avoid future recurrence.
5. Prepare monthly engineering report (R&M reports, utility consumption, capex progress) for Management’s review. Monthly monitoring of R&M reports and stock inventories for the department to ensure consistent control and within budgets.
6. Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance to all relevant industry standards including ISO, DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, and others.
7. Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and checklists to ensure consistent practices.
8. Establish a system for effective management of spare parts to support continuous production.
9. Provide necessary guidance and train the Maintenance team members to their best performance.
10. Upkeep equipment and machineries systematically to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate and solve problems in a timely manner, and identify opportunities for improvement.
11. Responsible for comprehensive maintenance stock control and inventory management of maintenance materials.
12. Review all engineering/maintenance material requirements and provide technical guidance to the procurement team for the correct purchase.
13. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, parts inventory, and equipment manuals.
14. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
15. Welding, mechanical & electrical works for factory and office.

What we're looking for:

1. Candidate must possess a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2. Minimum 5 (Five) years relevant working experience in a manufacturing environment or any other related field with a proven track record.
3. Preference for candidates with furniture industry experience.
4. Knowledgeable in electrical and instrumentation fields.
5. Strong technical knowledge, leadership, and supervisory skills.
6. Mature, analytical, self-starter, and independent.
7. Proficient in Office software such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
8. Proactive with a good sense of urgency.
9. Chargeman A0 or above is an added advantage.
10. Greenbook or OSH-Coordinator is an added advantage.
11. Competent Person in Scheduled Waste is an added advantage.
