- Assisting the Maintenance Manager on planning, scheduling, executing & coordinating all related Capex projects related to mechanical, electrical & civil.
- Controlling & updating all PID, PFD, layout drawings, shop floor drawings of the plant, filing hard copies and soft copies on the server.
- Planning, scheduling and executing Master time-based maintenance (PM) schedule on mechanical equipment including mechanical integrity at the plant, tank farm, and utilities area.
- Planning, scheduling and executing Master time-based maintenance (PM) schedule with external contractors for timely preventive maintenance programs on mechanical and environmental protection systems including mechanical integrity to maintain optimal working conditions.
- Identifying and maintaining stock for critical spare parts using SAP software on mechanical items to ensure uninterrupted production activities, including creation of Material in Material Master.
- Leading the yearly stock count and submitting reports on critical spare parts for mechanical & electrical.
- Leading the department’s risk assessment & HAZOP follow-up action and reviewing the effectiveness of control measures.
- Serving as a Mechanical Integrity leader and executing all activities relevant to MI, KPI & Plant assessment metrics.
- Conducting reliability studies on critical equipment including mechanical integrity of the plant & utilities, providing analysis (Reliability rate linked to equipment failure) and planning suitable maintenance types (CPM or SPM).
- Coordinating with external service providers to analyze and propose (Energy efficiency financial calculation) on equipment that could contribute to potential energy savings, ensuring ROI of not less than one to two years.
- Being responsible for Energy Efficiency Improvement Targets for the maintenance department on a yearly basis with indicators.
- Ensuring that process equipment is designed and maintained through recommended and generally accepted good engineering practices.
- Assisting the Maintenance Manager in planning, scheduling and executing all works related to the annual plant turnaround (JKPP inspection) on mechanical, civil, and normal shutdown activities (Plant shutdown).
- Assisting in the department’s risk assessment/analysis (OSH-RA, ERA, JSA & HAZOP) follow-up action and reviewing the effectiveness of control measures/mitigation.
- As a member of the IMS steering committee, continually contributing to the effective implementation and maintenance of the integrated management system without disrupting management standard certification and AIMS.
- Participating as an HSE Committee member to address issues pertaining to HSE.
Required Profile
• Degree in engineering with at least 1 year of relevant working experience in chemical unit operation or at least 4-5 years in maintenance experience in project works.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong leadership ability.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Skills in handling engineering project works.
• Knowledge in Utilities operating equipment.
• Knowledge in CPM (Conditional Preventive Maintenance) & SPM (Systematic Preventive Maintenance).
• Familiarity with SAP.
