Your day at NTT DATA
The Senior Logistics and Supply Chain Specialist is an advanced subject matter expert, responsible for providing detailed technical support with the promotion of the organization’s supply chain solutions and its optimization, processes, and use of resources. The primary objective of this role is to achieve cost benefits, delivery reliability and customer satisfaction through the best possible administration of solutions (flow of material, value, information). This role actively participates in the execution of the logistics and supply chain strategy that defines the connection and combination of activities and functions throughout the value chain including B2B integration.

What you'll be doing

1. Provides specialist knowledge necessary for processes and systems required by the buying team to execute the everyday activities.
2. Ensures the flow of materials, products, services and information.
3. Engages with vendors and clients and intervenes when queries from these stakeholders are escalated.
4. Remains involved with the buying process by participating in the delivery of advanced components of the process including the final resolution of problems and queries.
5. Provides expertise on the necessary processes to ensure continuous client satisfaction.
6. Participates in the pre-sales processes and/or successes to ensure growth within the assigned portfolio.
7. Works closely with multiple teams to create the best solution design for the client and develop procedures and systems for commercial supply chain projects ensuring commercial readiness.
8. Works across multiple teams on strategic projects that identify risks to supply chain delivery and drive the implementation of appropriate solutions.
9. Supports with any other key tasks as requested by management.

Knowledge and Attributes:

1. Display good attention to detail and the ability to manage work processes.
2. Possess good knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures.
3. Good client service orientation and impeccable relationship building skills.
4. Display an analytical orientation and continually identify mechanisms for improved service delivery.
5. Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.
6. Possess a good understanding of the client’s business needs and the associated company delivery model.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management or Information Technology or a related field. Relevant Supply Chain and Logistics certification preferred.

Required Experience:
Advanced experience relevant to the field within a large scale (preferably multi-national) technology services environment. Advanced experience in service delivery within a supply chain environment.
