Senior Legal Executive

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Senior Legal Executive to join our company. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing all legal matters, providing expert guidance, and leading a team to support the company’s operations, both locally and internationally. The ideal candidate must be fluent in Mandarin (reading, speaking, and writing), possess strong arbitration experience, and demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

What we're looking for

• Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Law or equivalent.
• A certificate of Legal Practice/Bar qualification is compulsory.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a legal or paralegal role, preferably in a corporate or commercial setting.
• Practical knowledge of Malaysia laws and international laws, especially related to construction projects and business operations.
• Proficient in English and good command in Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Experienced in Chinese company would be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Fast learner with the ability to quickly understand and adapt to complex legal matters.
• High ethical standards and openness to background checks.
