About TAR UMT:

Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (‘TAR UMT’) is a premier institution of higher learning in Malaysia set up in 1969 as TAR College by the Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA) to provide quality and affordable tertiary education to Malaysians.

On 2 May 2013, it officially became a University College under the name Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TAR UC) until 2022, when it changed its name to TAR UMT, opening up a new vista for the University to explore and develop further in the sphere of academia.
