We are seeking an experienced and motivated IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our rapidly growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage incoming support tickets through JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and high customer satisfaction.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and comprehensive IT support for clients, in-office and remote employees.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware (desktops, laptops, network devices), software, and connectivity issues using in-person and remote assistance tools.
• Oversee IT equipment inventory, ensuring accurate asset logging, procurement, and decommissioning of hardware.
• Deploy and manage containerised applications using Kubernetes and Docker to support scalable and efficient IT infrastructure.
• Conduct regular audits and maintain an up-to-date inventory system.
• Monitor, manage, and maintain on-premise and cloud infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
• Perform routine IT operations, including patch management, data backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Manage and troubleshoot network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls to ensure connectivity and network security.
• Implement network upgrades and monitor performance across all company locations.
• Set up and maintain telecommunications systems (VoIP, video conferencing) and audio-visual equipment for meetings.
• Maintain accurate documentation for IT systems, configurations, and processes.
• Provide regular reports on IT infrastructure performance and track incidents for analysis and future improvements.
• Create and maintain detailed troubleshooting guides and knowledge base articles.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and suggest enhancements to optimize support operations.
• Ensure adherence to security protocols and participate in security awareness training to protect company information.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 7 years of experience in hands-on IT infrastructure support or a similar position.
• Ability to work on-call and address urgent issues outside of standard business hours as needed.
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in operating systems such as Linux, Windows, and Mac, with expertise in security hardening and patch management.
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure, including AWS (e.g., EC2, storage, VPC) and Azure, as well as on-premise virtualized servers.
• Solid understanding of networking principles (e.g., OSI model, TCP/IP) and hands-on experience with network devices and security measures (e.g., firewalls, system hardening).
• Proven experience in IT asset management and inventory control.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to provide effective on-site and remote support, with clear communication to non-technical users.
• Familiarity with Jira or similar ticketing systems, including the creation and assignment of tasks for team members.
• Competence in conveying technical details to non-technical individuals.
• Skill in utilizing search engines and AI tools to research and resolve technical issues.
• Experience with following software and tools - Proxmox, NinjaOne RMM, Synology, Rancher, Portainer, and Gitlab.
