Role: Senior Integrated Designer

About the role:

As a Senior Integrated Designer, he/she must possess the skills to combine various design disciplines to create cohesive and aesthetically pleasing designs across multiple platforms and media. This role often requires a diverse skill set to handle design projects' creative and technical aspects.

What you will be doing:

  • Graphic Design and Illustration:
  • Strong understanding of design principles, including graphic design and illustration, colour theory, typography, layout, and composition.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Animation and Motion Graphics:
  • Ability to create animations and motion graphics using After Effects, Premier Pro or Blender.
  • Understanding the principles of animation and how they apply within various media.
  • Branding:
  • Experience in developing brand identities and ensuring consistency across all marketing channels.
  • Ability to create brand guidelines and visually represent brand values.
  • Print Design:
  • Knowledge of print production processes, including file preparation and print specifications.
  • Experience in creating materials like brochures, posters, and packaging.
  • Digital Marketing:
  • Understanding of digital marketing concepts and how design impacts digital campaigns.
  • Experience with social media graphics, email design, and online advertising.
  • Problem-Solving:
  • Ability to address design challenges creatively and find effective solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess project needs and constraints.
  • Project Management:
  • Skills in managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Communication:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate design concepts and collaborate with clients.
  • Ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Willingness to learn new tools and techniques as technology and trends evolve.
  • Flexibility in working across various design disciplines and integrating them effectively.

What you need to be great in this role:

  • At least 7 years of experience in the design/advertising/marketing sectors.
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, with a deep understanding of design principles, motion, typography, and colour theory.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to craftsmanship, ensuring every pixel is in its place.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate your ideas, provide and receive feedback constructively, and work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare marketing, consumer health and wellness products, is a huge advantage.
  • A methodical and considered approach to design and motion projects.
  • Experience working across and delivering both digital, print, and motion-based projects.
  • Knowledge of digital accessibility best practice.
  • Share know-how and best work across network.
  • Keeping up to date with current design thinking and trends.
  • Confident and articulate, with the ability to voice and share ideas and opinions both internally and with clients.
  • Great team player with a client-centric focus and possess the ability to build strong and effective working relationships.
  • Confident in your own abilities and be able to proactively influence clients and manage their expectations.
  • Strong communication skills and ensure that internal processes are maintained and improved.
