About the Role

Job Requirements:

1. Mandatory
   • Minimum 3 years of experience as IT Security Engineer
   • Experience with hands-on implementation of security technical solutions
   • Background experience in Security vendor
   • CISSP certification
2. Familiarity with securing networks, applications, and databases
3. Experience in establishing security standards for IT systems
4. Solid understanding of Risks Assessment
5. Experience with securing cloud environments, particularly AWS

Key Responsibilities:

1. Security Architecture & Engineering

1. Design and implement secure IT infrastructure across the organization
2. Research, assess, and propose suitable security technologies and tools
3. Integrate security best practices into software and systems design
4. Develop automated security processes and workflows

2. Threat Detection & Response

1. Deploy and manage threat intelligence platforms
2. Continuously monitor systems for unusual activities or potential breaches
3. Lead the response and investigation of security incidents and recommend preventive measures

3. Vulnerability Management

1. Perform ongoing vulnerability scans and penetration tests
2. Work closely with development and operations teams to fix identified weaknesses
3. Enhance and manage patching procedures and related controls

4. Security Training & Advocacy

1. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
2. Partner with internal teams to ensure secure deployments and processes
3. Drive internal security training sessions and awareness initiatives
4. Serve as a security advisor to business functions and support teams
