Senior ICT Cable Installer

Installation of metal trunking (cut/saw, bending), PVC piping, GI conduit and PVC conduit.

Installation of ELV System such as cable laying, termination, testing.

Install and terminate copper cable and fiber optic cabling (OM3, OM4, OS2) in data center.

Rack and stack network equipment, including patch panels, switches and servers.

Able to interpret drawings & conduct a site survey.

To handle and perform electrical wiring works and install all types of commonly used wiring and wiring accessories.

Work closely with Project Managers and Site Engineers to ensure timely project delivery.

Maintain a high level of safety and quality control on-site.

Requirements:

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Structured Cabling Installation.

Hands-on experience with fiber and copper cable installation, termination and testing.

Strong knowledge of metal trunking, cable tray, cable ladder, cable basket with hands-on job at site.

Ability to read and understand network cabling diagrams and blueprints.

Willingness to work flexible hours and on-site as required.

Candidate with experience in M&E sector / Construction field is an added advantage.

Candidate with hands-on skills on electrical wiring knowledge is an added advantage.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Must be responsible, committed, independent and pro-active with a can-do attitude.

Must be willing to travel local/outstation.

Must be willing to work Overtime/Nighttime/Weekend if required.
