This role focuses on performing HR services-related tasks (e.g., HR administrative, recruitment, learning/training development, HR service desk, etc.) in a timely manner. The candidate should be able to think outside the box and challenge the existing process to ensure continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Establish a strong rapport with hiring managers to understand their strategic staffing needs and fill vacancies in a timely manner.
- Work with hiring managers to develop job descriptions and requirements, and post advertisements on a variety of job platforms.
- Review online applications, evaluate qualifications of both internal and external candidates, conduct interviews to analyze candidate experience and fit, and coordinate pre-employment tests as needed, verifying references.
- Manage candidate interview results and selection decisions with hiring managers. Provide candidates feedback on interview results as appropriate.
- Complete reference checks and background checks on selected candidates, as requested.
- Liaise between new hires and human resources, ensuring submission of all documentation required.
- Be proactive, think strategically, and network early in search of stellar candidates for all positions.
- Recommend system improvements to current recruitment processes to ensure streamlined, cost-effective, high-quality services are provided to hiring managers.
- Track applicant flow, maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future consideration, and help collect and analyze recruitment data.
- Build and maintain a database of qualified professionals to rapidly respond to talent management needs.
- Represent Bjak with professionalism, enthusiasm, and energy to sell the organization to prospective candidates.
- Conduct informational interviews with potential candidates and solicit and prioritize internal referrals.
- Proactively use social media, including Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience; HR Certification, ideally Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources/Business/Social Sciences/Psychology field.
- Bi-lingual proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Quality driven – in communications and all system transactions.
- 5+ years' experience in Human Resources.
- Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies.
- Demonstrated expertise in training managers and employees.
- Strong organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and good judgment.
