Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, a HR Executive – Operations is responsible for carrying out all HR functions including the implementation of various policies and connecting with employees of different departments. The ideal candidate should have outstanding task management and prioritization skills and a solid knowledge of local employment laws and legislation. Ultimately, the candidate should be a problem solver that pays attention to detail and displays effective communication skills.

Job Description:

• Take charge and deliver core end-to-end HR Operations excellence in an effective and efficient manner including onboarding, offboarding, leave and attendance management, expats management, compensation and benefits, performance management, contract renewals, HRMS, HR reporting, etc. to ensure all the SLAs are met by maintaining the employees’ data system.
• Manage seamless employee lifecycle from hire to retire, updating the employee file and information, ensuring documentation is kept with the highest level of confidentiality and integrity.
• Prepare and manage employment contracts in compliance with Malaysian law. Ensure proper record keeping of employee data and documents, maintaining confidentiality and security as required by law.
• Act as a liaison to government agencies on behalf of the Company and expats.
• Coordinate with new and existing expats on application, renewal, and cancellation of employment pass.
• Establish a strong rapport and have regular communication with the stakeholders and expats regarding HR Operations matters, relocation, and other needs to ensure comfortable working conditions.
• Monitor payroll information and ensure timely submission of payroll reports, ensuring accuracy.
• Monitor and process expenses and reimbursements.
• Lead and drive the enhancement of HRMS, benefits, vendors, and programs to ensure they are competitive and processes are effective and efficient.
• Lead and drive ongoing implementation of HR projects, policy, and process improvements ensuring compliance.
• Ensure the compliance of Company, labor, legal, and government reporting requirements.
• Develop, lead, and drive relevant HR-related policies, documentation, and reporting, acting as the custodian and guiding stakeholders accordingly.
• Oversee daily HR Operations ensuring no delays and carry out tasks as assigned by the Superior.

Requirements:

• Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate diploma/Bachelor’s degree/Postgraduate diploma/professional degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Well-versed in Microsoft Office software and Employment Act 1955 and its amendments.
• Experience in liaising with government agencies such as LHDN, MDEC, etc.
• Demonstrate leadership abilities, be a self-starter, and be adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment.
