Senior HR Specialist (Talent Acquisition & Development)

We are representing with our well-known FMCG client, a leader in the production and distribution of pastries and baked goods, to find a dynamic candidate for the Senior HR Specialist (Talent Acquisition & Development) position, based in Shah Alam, Selangor.

Job Description:

1. Recruitment:

  • Build relationships with line managers to understand their hiring needs and job specifications.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle to hire and retain quality candidates.
  • Write and post job descriptions on relevant platforms, including social media.
  • Use various recruiting sources and strategies to find quality candidates.
  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and manage the hiring process until offer negotiation.
  • Stay active on job boards and social networks to attract candidates.
  • Organize and facilitate Orientation training for new joiners.
  • Assist in creating a comprehensive onboarding process based on best practices.

2. Talent Development:

  • Administer and oversee the Performance Management System, ensuring adherence to appraisal cycles.
  • Assist in designing and executing Learning & Development frameworks, including training needs analysis and development plans.
  • Support in creating training content, co-facilitating in-house programs, and arranging internal/external training opportunities.

3. Talent Retention and Engagement:

  • Improve the overall Employee Experience from start to finish and lead company-wide engagement initiatives aligned with the Employee Value Proposition.

4. HR Communication:

  • Design, edit, and publish HR content, including newsletters and materials, and perform other assigned duties as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum a Degree holder in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 3 or more years of experience in recruitment, talent development and/or talent retention.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Familiarity with job boards, social media and computer systems designed specifically for HR.
