Job description

The Senior HR Operation Executive will oversee the daily operations of the HR department. This role involves managing HR programs, policies, and initiatives, as well as providing support to employees and various departments. The ideal candidate is someone who is meticulous, proactive and possesses strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a good understanding of HR best practices.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. HR Administration
    • Oversee HR administrative tasks, such as payroll processing, benefits administration, and HRIS management.
    • Prepare HR reports and metrics to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  2. HR Policies and Compliance
    • Assist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation.
  3. Recruitment - Onboarding to Offboarding
    • Collaborate with the Head of Business Units to coordinate recruitment efforts, including job postings, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.
    • Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Manage the offboarding process, ensuring a positive experience for all employees throughout their entire employment journey.
  4. Performance Management
    • Support managers in the performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
    • Provide guidance to management and employees on performance-related issues and initiatives.
  5. Employee Relations
    • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and issues, providing guidance and support as needed.
    • Assist in resolving employee relations matters, including investigations and conflict resolution where required.
    • Promote a positive work environment and employee morale through effective communication and initiatives.
  6. Employee Engagement
    • Work with business unit heads to implement employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs.
    • Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of HR Operation experience handling multiple countries, being Australia and Malaysia in particular.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, policies and best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and MS Excel Skills.
  • Fluent in English.
