About the Role

Snappymob is growing fast, and our People & Culture team is rapidly expanding. We are looking for a Senior HR Manager who is passionate about aligning business objectives with leaders and employees, driving operational effectiveness, and leveraging analytics to enhance HR processes.

Reporting directly to the Head of People & Culture, this role will play a key part in optimizing and managing HR operations, processes, and programs to support Snappymob’s growth. The ideal candidate has a strong background in HR operations, excellent organizational skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will also have the opportunity to lead and mentor an HR Admin intern, with the potential to grow your team as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Senior Management Team and department leads to align people & culture strategies with business objectives.

  • Develop and execute initiatives to strengthen company culture and employee engagement.

  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared, collected, and updated in the HRIS.

  • Design, implement, and maintain HR policies to support business needs and compliance requirements.

  • Ensure accurate and timely updates of employee information in the HRIS, aligning with payroll cycles.

  • Prepare and maintain monthly payroll reports and ensure employee records remain up to date.

  • Support managers and employees with visa and work permit processes, where company sponsorship applies.

  • Lead training and development programs to support talent growth and organizational success.

  • Oversee the performance management process, ensuring alignment with compensation and benefits strategies.

  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance issues, and disciplinary actions.

  • Supervise one HR Admin intern, with potential to expand the team as the company grows.

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, proactively managing risks.

What would you need?

  • 5+ years of broad generalist HR experience with expertise across multiple HR functions.

  • 8+ years of client-facing HR experience, partnering with leaders and employees to drive HR initiatives.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.

  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices and strong familiarity with Malaysian labor laws and regulations.

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with strong interpersonal abilities to engage effectively at all levels.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, plan effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to identify areas for improvement and drive operational efficiencies.

  • Previous experience in the software industry is a plus.
