Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the overall provision of HR services, policies, and programs for the entire company, ensuring compliance with existing policies and procedures.
  • Build and manage effective HR and business partnerships by developing, implementing, and driving HR strategies and initiatives that align with the company's overall goals.
  • Lead initiatives to foster a high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement among employees.
  • Strategically re-evaluate recruitment processes to align with the company’s direction, ensuring the acquisition of talent that meets both skills requirements and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify medium- and long-term manpower needs, mapping career paths for high-potential staff and establishing clear progression for key roles.
  • Implement training programs and cross-departmental learning opportunities to develop employee skills, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct employee orientation sessions and manage employee relations matters, including counseling and compliance with local labor laws.
  • Plan and implement organizational changes and development initiatives to adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Develop and manage performance appraisal systems that drive high performance across the organization, ensuring alignment with corporate values.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and changes in labor legislation.

Job Requirements:

  • A Bachelor Degree in Business Administration/Human Resources/Social Science or related experience. A Professional or relevant post graduate qualification is desirable.
  • 5 - 10 years of related working experience with sound knowledge of all human resources matters and exposure to HR operational issues.
  • Comprehensive understanding of policies, system, rewards, settlements and legislation.
  • Commercially aware, high sensitivity to the social economic and political environment.
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to work with people of all levels and sensitive to their needs and perception.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills coupled with tact, diplomacy and the ability to resolve general issue on human resource management in general.
