The Senior Executive HR specializing in Industrial Relations (IR) and Performance Management System (PMS) will be responsible for maintaining and improving employee relations, managing conflict resolutions, ensuring compliance with labour laws, and developing and overseeing the performance management processes. This role will involve collaborating with various departments/divisions to align HR strategies with business goals and enhancing employee engagement and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Industrial Relations
Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns and grievances promptly and effectively.
Develop and implement strategies to improve employee relations and morale.
Ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulations.
Manage labour disputes and negotiations with unions, if applicable.
Handle conflicts and disputes in the workplace, mediating between parties to achieve resolution.
Conduct investigations into workplace issues and recommend appropriate actions.
2. Performance Management System
Design and implement effective performance management systems and processes.
Conduct training sessions for managers and employees on performance appraisal systems and goal setting.
Identify training and development needs through job analysis, appraisal schemes, and regular consultation with business managers.
Develop individual and group training programs that address specific business needs.
Coordinate and oversee the performance appraisal process.
Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure and monitor employee performance.
Analyse performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR with a focus on industrial relations and performance management.
Proven experience in handling labour relations and compliance with labour laws.
Experience in designing and implementing performance management systems.
