The Senior HR Executive reports to the Director of Human Resources or its designee, supporting the department in managing all aspects of Human Resources functions, in line with Hilton and hotel policies and procedures.

What will I be doing?

  • Processing people's movement and payroll-related processes on the Orisoft system adhering to local employment regulations, including administering the time management systems that involve new team member registration and attendance checking for month-end payroll closing.
  • Ensure overtime claims are supported by proper approval and authorization.
  • Ensure the team member's exit clearance is processed according to the hotel procedure.
  • Assist with team members' medical and insurance administration tasks such as enrolment and deletion, including liaising with the insurance provider for any support requirements.
  • Assist with administering and generating annual leave reports to distribute to Heads of Department monthly.
  • Administer the payment requisition process.
  • Maintain effective internal communication with team members and respond to inquiries promptly.
  • Assist with supervising and maintaining team members' facilities.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times, ensuring strict practice of office lock-up and security of information.
  • Ensure all practices are aligned with Hilton HR audit requirements.
  • Maintain a systematic filing system.
  • Participate in HR initiatives or projects assigned, including supporting the HR team in planning, organizing, and implementing team member engagement programs.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What are we looking for?

  • Degree/Diploma in Human Resources or any relevant discipline.
  • At least 2 years of Human Resources practices.
  • Good understanding of the Local Employment Act.
  • Good command of English in writing and speaking to meet business needs.
  • Good command of the local language to communicate with local team members.
  • Possess exceptional self-awareness, empathy, and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships and navigate complex situations with tact and sensitivity.
  • Emotional intelligence is essential for understanding and responding to team members' needs, managing conflicts, and maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Proficient in operating Microsoft Office applications and HRMS.
  • Possess a good work ethic.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in tasks, processes, and communications.
  • Ability to maintain excellent relations with associates and maintain team member and guest confidentiality at all times.
