We are looking for a seasoned Senior HR Executive to be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that align with our business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of HR functions, including training and development, employee relations, performance management systems and legal compliance.

Roles and Responsibilities

Training and Development

  1. Assess the training requirements for the local entity. Identify gaps in employees’ attitudes, skills, and knowledge that need to be addressed through targeted training and development initiatives.
  2. Source, drive, and manage the delivery of in-house and external learning programs tailored to meet stakeholder needs.
  3. Administer and oversee the Internal Learning & Development system, ensuring its effective implementation and maintenance.
  4. Perform data analysis to generate training reports, providing valuable insights for decision-making and continuous improvement.
  5. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to maximize their impact on employee development.
  6. Conduct periodic audits of training records, policies, and procedures, implementing improvement plans as required.
  7. Collaborate in the review of existing learning and development policies, learning programs, plans, and training budget, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  8. Stay updated on industry developments and trends, incorporating new knowledge and best practices into training programs.
  9. Lead other corporate learning and development projects (e.g., skill matrix, internal TTT, team building).
  10. Oversee expenditures in relation to the departmental training budget and manage HRDF claims.

Employee Relations

  1. Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  2. Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns and grievances promptly and effectively.
  3. Handle conflicts and disputes in the workplace, mediating between parties to achieve resolution.
  4. Conduct investigations into workplace issues and recommend appropriate actions.
  5. Develop and implement strategies to improve employee relations and morale.
  6. Ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulations.

HR Strategy Planning and Compliance

  1. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  2. Enforce management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
  3. Review HR activities to identify issues related to policies, practices, regulations, compliance, employee issues, and other HR focus areas.
  4. Actively involve and support internal and external audit, including documents preparations, auditing and findings countermeasures.
  5. Perform in-depth analysis to compile statistics for HR reports in a timely manner, including Monthly Management Report, Grievance Report and other ad hoc reports.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management or relevant field.
  2. Minimum 5 years and above proven work experiences in HR field.
  3. Experience working in manufacturing industry would be an advantage.
  4. Advanced knowledge of best HR practices and Employee Relations.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
  6. Demonstrable leadership abilities.
  7. Solid communication and interpersonal skills, able to communicate with all levels of stakeholders effectively.
