Danone Specialized Nutrition Malaysia is seeking a Senior Healthcare Nutrition Executive. Main mission is to drive and champion our ambition as a credible leader in infant nutrition. You will need to uncover the healthcare customer’s (HCPs) needs and provide suitable nutritional solutions. You will also need to gain HCPs recommendation/endorsement for our range of products and ensure plans and activities are implemented effectively to achieve the function goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

1. Call unto identified HCPs to establish strong scientific-based relationships and position our range of solutions as the preferred solutions for the HCPs and position Danone as the company of first choice.
2. Convince HCPs with the appropriate level of scientific and commercial argumentation to support DBN health agenda.
3. Record and report back on call visits and progress against set objectives.
4. Identify business opportunities within the assigned area and develop business potentials to realize the potential of the respective area.
5. Gain hospital listings to create product usage and brand awareness at mothers e.g. via tenders, rotations, and detailing.
6. Maintain ongoing contact with identified lists of HCP across the defined geographical area.
7. Understand and respond to competitive activities and recommend actions to counteract these in order to help protect our market position.
8. Maintain a high level of product knowledge to understand and explain all product information and answer any questions from HCP.
9. Follow up on customer queries/complaints (high-level consumer complaints).
10. Review business plan in line with cycle objectives on a timely basis with the Healthcare Nutrition Solution Manager.
11. Ensure that all business conforms to the WHO and local government code of ethics for infant formula products.
12. Ensure the accomplishment of qualitative and quantitative key performance indicators assigned for your respective area on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis.
13. Plan and implement tenders and/or rotation submission within the assigned territory.
14. Remain updated with market, competitive, and other related information.
15. Update competitor intelligence and input into required templates.
16. Develop counter plans if foresee threats from competitions.
17. Compile and submit reports on activities in accordance with established formats and schedules.
18. Monitor and be responsible for monthly claims according to guidelines.
19. Provide on-time reports as required.
20. Consistently review activities to determine whether those activities are delivering expected returns.
21. Build strong relationships with targeted HCPs and map the Decision-Making networks in the region.
22. Establish cordial working relationships with other departments particularly Trade Sales, Marketing, and within Healthcare Nutrition.
23. Organize local symposia/seminars with HCPs as required.
24. Support events, seminars, and activation identified by the company.

About You

1. Degree in Nutrition / Dietetics (For new hires only; for current employees – we will apply for the inclusion once the Act guidelines are implemented).
2. Computer literate.
3. Well versed with current issues related to infant nutrition and food science.
4. Experience in working with the medical and health environment will be an advantage.
5. A minimum of 3-5 years in sales/nutrition role.
6. Preferably have Nutritional and dietetics knowledge/background.
7. Good team player.
8. Strong leadership capabilities, decisive with a high level of integrity.
9. Analytical with good presentation skills.
10. Proactive, good follow-through, and results-oriented.
11. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills including written & spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
12. Planning and organizing, coordination, delegation, and control skills.
13. Able to drive a motorcar and possess a valid driving license.
