Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (f/m/d) - React, Node.js

Job Description

Your role

We are looking for an ambitious and driven Senior Full Stack Engineer (f/m/d) who enjoys working in a high pace and constantly evolving industry. You will play a key role in one of our Full Stack teams and be responsible for the development and maintenance of various microservices and frontends.

Activities

• Participate in all stages of software development, including database design and code reviews
• Maintain and operate the services and UIs you develop
• Understand and translate functional requirements into efficient, maintainable and scalable source code
• Writing and reviewing source code and tests
• Drive team collaboration, mentor junior engineers, identify improvements and bottlenecks and establish best practices

Requirements

• Profound experience using Typescript to develop both Node.js-based API services as well as React-based UIs
• Good understanding of SQL and database design
• At least spent five years in one or more development team(s) implementing backend services with Node.js and UIs with React
• Automated testing with tools like Jest, Mocha, Playwright, and other established testing libraries should be second nature to you and you must be clearly able to articulate the benefits of having a high code coverage
• You like working in an agile remote team, don't shy away from collaboration like pair programming and have profound knowledge in writing reusable code adopting commonly known software design patterns
