Senior Full Stack Developer

At the heart of the business is the TEAM LEWIS Foundation (TLF), a non-profit charitable entity. Since its launch it has funded over 1,000 causes. The TLF promotes a wide variety of social, cultural, and environmental causes that benefit society. It aims to strengthen the bonds between the creative industries, businesses, government, and non-profits. In 2021, the TLF granted $1 million to small and large causes all over the globe. The goal in 2023 is to grant $5 million. Community charities are championed by employees, who in addition to the financial donation, volunteer their time and skills to leverage effectiveness.

Role Overview

Key responsibilities and tasks

1. Strategic Development: Go beyond the brief to consider commercial aspects and business value in website development.
2. Standards and Evolution: Collaborate with the Head of Development and the development team to maintain and enhance the agency’s development standards.
3. Creative Excellence: Develop designs to an excellent creative standard, working closely with other delivery functions.
4. Portfolio Diversification: Identify and progress opportunities to diversify and expand the agency’s development product portfolio.
5. Attention to Detail: Ensure high levels of accuracy and detail in all code deliverables.
6. Innovation and Exploration: Stay updated with the latest techniques and languages, and offer innovative solutions to development requirements.
7. Maintainable Solutions: Develop scalable, maintainable solutions and reusable assets (blueprint products).
8. Team Leadership: Inspire and encourage excellence within the development and design teams.
9. Continuous Improvement: Record and share lessons learned with team members to foster continuous improvement.
10. Current Architecture: Ensure development architecture is up-to-date and repositories are well-maintained.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Experience: 5+ years of development experience.
2. Front-End Frameworks: Expertise with modern front-end frameworks like NextJs.
3. Platform Proficiency: Experience with HubSpot.
4. Back-End Understanding: Strong understanding of back-end programming concepts.
5. Nice to Have: Experience with Azure.
6. Leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor junior developers.
7. Soft Skills: Positive communication, strong work ethic, ambition, and drive.

Additionally, you're someone that can successfully utilize HTML/CSS3/SCSS to support responsive design, progressive enhancement, SEO best practices, W3C, and accessibility standards across desktop and mobile web.
