Job Responsibilities:
- Accounting systems, personnel, and function.
- Internal controls, corporate governance, and processes.
- Internal audit and external audit oversight.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, lawyers, bankers, and other consultants.
- Tax Compliance, Indirect Taxation, Deferred Tax, and Tax Planning.
- Attend to a government agency on certain initiatives, certification, incentives/grants, and specific project.
- Timely and effective management and financial reporting.
- Human resource management of the finance department.
- Cross-border functions.
- Business expansion planning which includes merger, acquisition, and joint venture exercises.
- Familiarity with MFRS, and MPERS implementation and updates.
- Familiar with LHDNM rules and regulation.
- Timely educate all finance staff on Latest Tax Compliance, Cash Flow, Accounting Standards.
- Familiar with Basic IT such as Outlook, Microsoft Office, SAP B1, SAP Hana, Teams.
- Oversee performance by all operating units within the group of companies.
- Take lead and develop a continuous evaluation of both short-term and long-term financial strategies to ensure achievement of company objectives.
- Act as a role model to team members to encourage good practice, team spirit, and a quality-oriented approach.
- Proactively manage staff motivation and morale of the finance department.
- Organize and conduct regular team meetings within portfolio (where required) to address and resolve team issues, or concerns.
- Conduct weekly & monthly management meetings to discuss overall performance of companies with the Board of Directors.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain flexibility.
- Any other job that may be assigned to you by the directors.
Salary: Negotiable based on work experience
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in accounting or other finance-related studies, alongside the ACCA qualification.

The Company will reimburse you whilst in the employment of the Company the annual subscriptions of the following professional bodies:
- Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA);
- Malaysia Institute of Accountants (MIA).
Professional Courses/Training Attended:
Where applicable, the Company will reimburse you whilst in the employment of the Company, the costs associated with any professional courses or training attended in relation to the course of work to maintain Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points/hours.
Other Monthly Club Subscriptions – Business/Fitness Related:
The Company will reimburse you whilst in the employment of the Company the monthly club subscriptions in relation to business or fitness purposes, limited to a value of RM 200.00 per month only.
Out of pocket expenses such as mobile telephone charges, reasonable entertainment, outside parking only on Company’s business are reimbursed based on actual receipts. The Employee is entitled to claim RM3,000.00 per annum on technology and/or gadget purchases whilst in employment with the Company.

Our company is Medilux Oils & Fats Sdn Bhd. We are a trading company, established since 1996. We source for palm oil and palm oil-related bi-products and trade the said products to customers both locally and globally. We have export shipments at least twice a month to fulfill customers' contracts.
