OVERVIEW

We are hiring a Senior Finance Manager to lead and manage the finance department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and overall financial strategy for the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong financial acumen, leadership experience and a deep understanding of financial regulations and practices. The Senior Finance Manager will play a key role in supporting the company's strategic goals through financial analysis and insights.

Job Description :

Financial Management :

• Lead the preparation and oversight of financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
• Develop, implement and monitor financial strategies and controls to ensure financial stability and growth.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data in compliance with accounting standards, regulations and company policies.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with other departments to align financial goals with overall business objectives.
• Perform in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and improve profitability.

Team Leadership and Development :

• Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, support and training to enhance team performance.
• Foster a high-performing, collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement and meeting financial targets.
• Conduct performance evaluations and identify development opportunities for the finance team.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of departmental tasks and deliverables.

Risk Management and Compliance :

• Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues, ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations.
• Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring that all financial practices meet industry standards and legal requirements.
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard the company's assets.

Strategic Financial Planning :

• Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term financial plans that support the company's strategic objectives.
• Provide key financial insights and recommendations to senior management to improve operational efficiency and maximize profitability.
• Assist in the development of pricing strategies, cost management, and financial policies to ensure sustainable growth.

Additional Duties :

• Stay up-to-date with the latest financial trends, regulations and industry best practices.
• Be available for after-hours work when necessary.
• Undertake any other responsibilities as required by management.

Job Requirement :

• 5+ years relevant industry experience.
• Degree qualification in the relevant field (Finance, Accounting, etc.).
• Master's or professional certifications preferred (CPA, CFA, ACCA, etc.).
• Work effectively in fast-paced environments with minimum supervision.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing and developing finance teams.
• Proven ability to manage complex financial processes and provide strategic financial advice.
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and tax laws.
• Familiarity with handling confidential information securely.
• Proficiency in word processing and data entry tasks (Microsoft Office, etc.).
• Proficiency in financial software.
• Ability to provide management-oriented solutions and advisory support.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
