Manage the entire spectrum of accounting and finance, capital and funding, strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
Produce and review financial reports, ensuring that expenditure is according to the approved budgets.
Accountable for ensuring the accuracy and timely preparation of financial statements and applicable reports, and completion of statutory accounts for the Company and subsidiaries to external auditors.
Ensure the efficiency of the day-to-day operation of overall accounting & financial functions in the general Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, Fixed Assets, Inter Company transactions, and Inventory Functions.
Monitor and review claims made by employees in accordance with the Company policies and Finance procedures.
Provide critical financial and operational information to the CEO and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations.
Participate as part of finance in business ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and the necessary process in due diligence.
Manage cash flow and forecasting with a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes a minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs.
Review transactions and documentation in compliance with Company accounting policies and procedures and statutory accounting standards.
Ensure timeliness and accuracy of financial and management reporting data for the Board of Directors, and shareholders and complied with regulatory requirements.
Ensure all other divisions and departments adhere in accordance to the Company policies and procedures from the financial aspect.
Attend to any other duties as may be assigned by the Management from time to time.
Job Requirements
As Senior Finance Manager, responsible for monitoring all financial activities of the company and also working closely with the Finance Controller to help make financial decisions.
Skills Required
Hands-on consolidation experience will be highly preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Good analytical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
Good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting and full professional qualification; ACCA/MIA.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience and holding a managerial position for more than 3 years.
A good level of commercial experience.
Ability to simulate financial risk/benefits under diverse market scenarios for management decisions.
Willing to work in the KL area.
