Senior Finance Manager

Job Description:

We're looking for an experienced Senior Finance Manager in the manufacturing industry based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity in the local specialized manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate should excel in strategic planning, adaptability, and possess a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and mentor a finance team to deliver top-notch financial services and support business growth in the manufacturing company.
2. Foster teamwork and standardization to build an efficient financial infrastructure, as well as set targets and guide finance staff, including setting three-month objectives.
3. Collaborate with the Group Finance Team to meet deadlines and requirements.
4. Develop budgets, manage local funding, and cash flow.
5. Conduct financial analysis, create KPI metrics, and prepare detailed financial reports.
6. Oversee inventory policies, counting procedures, and review aged inventory.
7. Ensure compliance with government regulations, file annual accounts, manage corporate tax liabilities, and implement risk management in treasury transactions.
8. Supervise and manage audits, third-party communications, and internal controls.
9. Identify spending and revenue patterns and recommend solutions.
10. Develop and enforce financial control procedures.
11. Handle ad-hoc business projects.
12. Assist in developing and implementing company strategy, challenging management as needed.
