Senior Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting:

• Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with local and international accounting standards.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.

Accounting, Finance & Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, accounting standards, tax regulations, company policies, industry standards, and other legal requirements.
• Implement and manage financial systems and tools to enhance financial tracking and reporting.
• Establish and maintain effective internal control procedures to safeguard company assets
• Lead Annual Stock Take exercise.
• Managing the company’s insurance policies, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and handling all aspects of insurance claims and coverage.
• Oversee audits, tax compliance and planning, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
• Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and optimize cash utilization to support operational needs.

Strategic Planning & Business Support:

• Collaborate with other departments to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
• Monitor regulatory requirements and changes, ensuring compliance and proactively identifying and mitigating financial risks.
• Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis, projects, and other duties as required.

Team Leadership & Development:

• Lead and develop the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development.
• Provide strategic leadership and direction for all financial activities of the organization.

External Relations

• Liaise, develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, financial institutions, external auditors , tax agent and regulatory bodies.

Requirements:

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CFA, or CIMA are highly preferred.

Work Experience

• Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related fields, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Proven track record in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Must have experience in both Malaysia and Indonesia, including knowledge of local financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
• Open to Malaysian and Indonesian candidates.

Technical Skills & Knowledge

• Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws.
• Proficiency in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), cost control, and financial risk management.
• Hands-on experience with financial systems, ERP software, and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls, compliance, and financial governance.
