Preparation of financial statements for the local and overseas entities.
Oversee reconciliation performed by shared service team.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial statutory reports in line with regulatory requirements for local and overseas entities.
Coordinate with external auditors to ensure smooth and timely audit processes.
Work with consultants on VAT filings and compliance ensuring timely and accurate submission of VAT returns.
Manage corporate income tax filings, ensuring compliance with local tax laws and regulations in each country.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with internal stakeholders, including finance teams, legal departments, and management, to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Provide support and guidance on accounting / tax-related matters to other departments as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting, statutory reporting, and tax compliance.
Strong understanding of local accounting standards, financial reporting requirements.
Able to work with local consultants on SST/VAT, and corporate tax laws.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Ability to adapt to changing regulations and handle multiple jurisdictions simultaneously.
Experience in foreign entity business environment would be desirable.
