ISP Malaysia – Asia Pacific Schools

We are seeking to hire a Senior Finance Executive to commence employment as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for month-end accounts closing process and ensure compliance with MFRS and company policies and procedures.
  • Provide timely financial reporting and other specific requests from the company.
  • Prepare journal entries and accounts reconciliation.
  • Provide supporting listing to the profit & loss and balance sheets items on a timely basis.
  • Assist and support on yearly Budget and Forecast activities.
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax agents for statutory audit and tax matters.
  • Assist Finance Manager in analytical review of financial data to improve business performance and efficiency.
  • Manage and control Capex spending.
  • Perform intercompany billings and recharges, intercompany balances confirmation and reconciliation.
  • Assist in internal control related assignments.
  • Provide assistance and support to team members and to all other functional groups.
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned.

Communication, marketing, and PR

  • To ensure professional and effective communication and consultation, as appropriate, between colleagues, parents and students at Asia Pacific Schools.
  • Publicise and celebrate achievements.
  • Assist with the organization of open evenings, consultation events and other events relating to the school.
  • Contribute to marketing activities for Asia Pacific Schools.

  • Undertake any other reasonable duties requested/assigned as required by SLT or Line Manager, especially with regard to the school’s administrative functions.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • Proven experience in financial management and analysis
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Computer literate with strong written and oral communication skills.
