Senior Finance Executive

We are looking for a reliable Senior Finance Executive that will analyze everyday financial activities and subsequently provide advice and guidance to upper management on future financial plans.

The goal is to enable the company's leaders to make sound business decisions and meet the company's objectives.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise in financial analysis and strategic planning. By analyzing day-to-day financial activities with precision, you will provide valuable insights and recommendations to upper management.

Monitoring financial performance, identifying areas for improvement, and capitalizing on opportunities will be integral parts of your responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
2. Maintain the financial health of the organization.
3. Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company's actual performance compared to the business plans.
4. Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
5. Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
6. Manage the preparation of the company's budget.
7. Liase with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
8. Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
9. Perform any additional duties or participate in ad-hoc projects assigned by the Management from time to time.

1. Bachelor/Master degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
2. Proven experience as a Senior Finance Executive.
3. Experience in the F&B sector will be an added advantage.
4. Broad knowledge in full set of accounting, accounting standards and reporting requirements, regulatory framework set by relevant authorities/agencies in banking and finance industry.
5. Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
6. A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
7. Strong communication skills, interpersonal and negotiation skills that can be used in motivating, influencing and advising upper management or suppliers and other business partners.
8. Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
9. Professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA/ACCA) is an added advantage.
