Senior Finance Executive

Position Title: Senior Finance Executive (Permanent)

Budget: up to RM6,000 (Basic)

Report to: Finance Manager
Subordinate: 3 (Executive Level)

Finance Team Size: 18 (expanding)

Working Hours: Fully in Office (No WFH arrangement)

• Monday to Wednesday: 8am to 5pm (1 hour break)
• Thursday: 8am to 6pm (1 hour break)
• Friday: 8am to 5.30pm (1.5 hours break due to Friday prayers)
• Group insurance, dental, optical, medical check-up subsidy.
• Performance bonus Twice per annum
• Company events, employee engagement/team building activities.

Job Scope:

• Responsible for leading and reviewing subordinates' work and assisting the Finance Manager in overall financial and internal control activities.
• Provide analysis of financial performance.
• In charge of preparing yearly audited report and tax computation compilation.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of monthly and quarterly Management and Accounting Reporting.
• Liaise with tax agents, auditors, bankers, and other authorities including Bank Negara Malaysia, Customs, etc.
• Lead improvement projects.
• Other ad-hoc jobs and projects assigned.

Requirements:

• Candidate must at least be a Degree holder in Accounting or equivalent.
• Preferably candidates with relevant working experience in multinational companies or audit firms, with a minimum of 3 to 4 years of working experience.
• Strong discipline, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work under stress and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and MRP accounting systems (i.e., SAP is an added advantage).
• Ability to read and write Chinese/Japanese is an added advantage.

Additional Requirement:

Experience in financial reporting, drafting and preparing audited reports, and expertise in audit and internal control aspects. Added advantage: knowledge in transfer pricing documents, J-SOX, and tax computation knowledge.
