Senior Finance Executive (Property Developer)
About the Role
Lofthill Development Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Finance Executive to oversee financial operations, reporting, and compliance for our property development projects. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and analytical professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience in the property development industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Perform budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for projects.
- Monitor project cash flow and provide financial insights to management.
- Accounts & Payment Management
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Verify invoices, manage vendor payments, and ensure timely collection from purchasers.
- Prepare progress billing and claims in accordance with project milestones.
- Banking & Loan Coordination
- Liaise with banks for loan drawdowns, project financing, and facility management.
- Monitor loan repayments, interest charges, and banking facilities.
- Work closely with banks on end-financing matters for purchasers.
- Regulatory Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and KPKT requirements.
- Assist in external and internal audits, preparing necessary documentation.
- Handle KPKT 7f & 7e submissions and other regulatory filings.
- E-Invoicing Implementation
- Ensure successful implementation of e-invoicing in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Work with internal teams and vendors to integrate e-invoicing into financial systems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot e-invoicing issues to ensure seamless transactions.
- Track development costs, ensuring expenditures align with project budgets.
- Work with the project team to optimize financial efficiency.
- Other Responsibilities
- Assist in system enhancements and process improvements within the finance department.
- Perform any other finance-related duties assigned by the superior.
What We’re Looking For
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
Professional Experience: Proven experience in managing full sets of financial accounts with a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting/finance.
Experience with a proven track record in financial management or accounting within the property development or construction sector would be considered a significant advantage.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
We are seeking candidates proficient in English & Mandarin to effectively communicate with English & Mandarin-speaking clients.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Words, Powerpoints and etc.
Proficiency in Accounting software, such as AutoCount would be advantageous.
Location Preference: Candidates willing to work in Millerz Tower, located in Old Klang Road, Kuala Lumpur.
