JB Cocoa is the brand of cocoa ingredient products by JB Foods Limited (JB Foods for short, or the Group), namely cocoa mass, cocoa butter and cocoa powder, which are used to produce chocolate, chocolate confectionary as well as cocoa-related food and beverages.

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Finance Executive to manage general ledger (GL) and accounts receivable (AR) functions. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and efficient management of receivables.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Handle month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.
2. Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports.
3. Assist in statutory reporting, tax filings, and compliance with audit requirements.
4. Support external auditors and tax advisors during audits and regulatory reviews.
5. Monitor AR aging reports and follow up on outstanding receivables to ensure timely collections.
6. Process customer invoices, payments, and credit notes accurately.
7. Assist in credit risk assessments, customer credit limit reviews, and collection strategies.
8. Work closely with sales and finance teams to resolve disputes and improve cash flow.
9. Support automation initiatives to enhance financial operations and reporting efficiency.
10. Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and corporate governance.
11. Assist in system enhancements, particularly within ERP systems (SAP S4Hana preferred).

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACCA/CPA qualification is an advantage).
2. 3-6 years of relevant experience in general ledger accounting and accounts receivable.
3. Strong knowledge of IFRS, local tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
4. Proficiency in SAP S4Hana or similar ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
5. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
6. Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments.
